The Story Behind the Shoot
The series was created in the middle of the city, moving through crowded streets and fast-paced moments, embracing the raw energy that defines New York during Fashion Week. Models were photographed in motion, often blending into the urban flow, with a deliberate “stolen moment” approach that gives the images a spontaneous, unpolished feel. Although shot digitally, each image was edited with an analog sensibility, adding grain, texture and muted tones to soften the sharpness of the city.
The result is a street-style series that feels immediate and honest, capturing fashion as it exists in real time. The images balance chaos and control, elegance and instinct, reflecting the contrast between high fashion and the everyday rhythm of New York. A project driven by observation, timing and a desire to document fashion beyond posed moments.
